What is your turnaround time?

Orders placed through the shopping cart ship within 2-3 business days of payment confirmation. Turnaround time for Manufacturing orders vary depending on quantities and order parameters.

Do you have a minimum order amount?

Enclosures do not have purchase limits but, like our manufacturing services, all knobs and switches have a 12 piece purchase minimum per style. While we would love to provide our parts and services to the smallest of DIY builders, the cost of running our shop simply do not allow for smaller quantities at this time. If you have a pending production order and would like samples of knobs or switches, please feel free to reach out with inquires.

Why can’t I purchase your services online?

Custom designs often require unique parameters that are difficult to automate. We simply are not comfortable taking payment for custom jobs up front without discussing and approving them first.

Do you accept credit cards?

Credit card payments are accepted via a secure payment link provided by PayPal.   Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Cards can all be processed at checkout. Your payment and account information is protected by the web host SSL.

Do I need an account to order?

No, but creating an account allows you to track your order in more detail and establish an order history for a better shopping experience every time you shop with us.

Can I set up Net Terms?

We do not support non PIA (Payment in advance) plans or other forms of Net Terms. All transactions are handled at checkout or, for manufacturing orders, through direct invoicing.

I forgot to add a part to my order, can I edit my order even though I already checked out?

Unfortunately, we are unable to change orders post checkout. You can place a new order and if the original order has not shipped, consolidate both orders. Any difference in shipping can be refunded or applied as store credit.

Do you accept returns? I’m not sure this was the right part after all.

As long as the items are not damaged upon arrival, yes, you can submit a return request and we will issue a refund for the parts. We do not accept returns of products produced from a manufacturing order.

Can I cancel my order please?

Online purchases can be canceled as long as the order has not shipped. We will not charge a restocking fee but try to reach us as soon as possible to avoid wasting packing material and resources.

Manufacturing orders cannot be canceled once production has begun. This process does not start until confirmation to proceed is made clear.

Can I get a discount?

Depends, how much did you purchase? Many items on the store have quantity discounts posted on the corresponding product page. Look for the Buy in bulk and save link at product page level.

Manufacturing discounts are discussed under Manufacturing > Pricing

I see on your website that you recommend 0.125" on bleed margin for printing. Does this apply to only the outside edges of the enclosure, or to the drills and machining as well?

The bleed only applies to the outside edges of each side of the enclosure.

It looks like on some of the examples on your website the printing gets pretty close to the edges/drill holes. What are the risks if my text/artwork gets closer than 0.125”?

At the edges of most enclosures, the corners start to slope in a rounded shape rather than a sharp 90 degree angle. The further the surface gets from the print head the hasier the image becomes. It could even bleed into the next side if it goes over the edge enough.

How much does the powder coating narrow the size of the drill holes?

In some cases, the powder coat can in fact affect the dimensions of the drills. This depends on the powder of choice and how many coats are necessary to achieve the desired finish. Most powder coats will have information available on how thick of an application is needed. The vast majority do not affect the size enough to be of concern but we generally make adjustments and recommendations when the powder calls for it.

Do you happen to have a list of the powders you have in stock? I see some common ones listed on your site, but curious if you have more to choose from.

Keeping a list of all of the available powders and quantities in the shop current, even on a weekly basis, is quite a challenge. At this time, it may be easier if you tell us what color you are looking for and we can help guide you in finding your ideal color and finish. If you are not sure of the color and happen to have art you'd like to share, we can try to help find a you match.

I don't actually need 12 enclosures right now. Would it be possible for you to take a smaller order?

We try our best to provide the best pricing for our services. In order to make it economical for ourselves, we have determined that 12 units is the absolute minimum amount that we can produce before it is no longer cost effective.

What is your process for the mandatory prototype? Do you ship it to me for approval or just send photos?

Once the powder color, drill template and art files have been approved, we place the prototype on our production schedule. Turnaround for this will take roughly two to three weeks to produce depending on how busy we are at the time. When the prototype is ready, we can share pictures of the sample which you can then approve or adjust. Services are applied according to customer specifications. Reworking a sample will not cost the same as the initial prototype but will be charged according to specifications.

Can I request that you not post pictures/video of my design publicly (social media, website, etc) before its officially released to the market?

We do not post any of our customers designs without getting permission first. If we have a run of pedals we'd like to post, we send an email requesting permission first.
